My name is Megan Lindsey and I am the artist behind Hues and Blues.

I grew up in Aurora, Colorado as the oldest of six children. At the age of 19, I moved to France to serve an 18 month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. During my time in France, I learned French, ate delicious food, created life long friendships, and grew to know my Father in Heaven. France, with all of its beautiful architecture, art, and history, also instilled in me a creative bug that I could not push aside when I returned home.

After coming home from my mission, I started dating Connor, a boy I met in High School. We were married the next year. We both attended Brigham Young University, where I studied to become an archaeologist. Within a year, we were blessed with our sweet Claire. She quickly became the light of our lives. Fourteen months later, her sister Margaret was born.

It was while I was pregnant with Margaret that I decided to start selling my artwork. I have been creating for as long as I can remember. Whether it was writing or drawing or painting, I always had a new idea to put on paper. When I became a mother I knew that what I wanted most was to be able to stay home and raise my girls. But I still needed something for me. And so Hues and Blues was born.

Here you will find a little bit of my heart on display. It is my hope that my art will both brighten your walls and your life - all the while bringing you closer to God and Jesus Christ.

With every purchase, know that not only are you helping to support my dream, but you are also helping my little family. Thank you so much for being here.
